I was in the States when I first saw Barak Obama, addressing the Democratic National Convention before they adopted John Kerry. He wowed the crowd then and was clearly more charismatic than Kerry.
So, now he’s after the Democratic nomination himself (presumably running against Hilary Clinton and John Edwards for the chance to tilt at the presidency) I thought I’d check out his biography on his website.
Sorry, no.
Why? I’m running Ubuntu with the last but one Flash Player installed and for some undoubtably essential reason Barak’s promotional biopic will only run in the latest version.
Ah well, I guess I’m not a voter there anyhow.

The moment I write this, of course, Adobe releases the Flash Player 9 for Linux. o I’m all updated now and can watch his videos.
