BoingBoing has been digging up newsgroup postings that reveal - guess what - that programmers ask each other for help. Specifically, they think it worthwhile attacking a First4Internet programmer for seeking help.
BoingBoing is, of course, stuffed with programmers whose almost magical expertise springs fully formed from nothing and who never have to please the boss. All the same maybe they should remind themselves of their real objections.
