Following on from observations about Matt Webb’s light cone RSS feed and my thoughts on bringing the cone down to Earth, here’s another idea: The Cone Of Death.
It’ll be an RSS feed, like Matt Webb’s, initialised with your date of birth to let you know, as you grow older, of famous people throughout history who had died by your age and how much more they’d achieved. Every day your news aggregator will remind you, like the slave repeating Memento homo
at a Roman triumph, about your own demise.
I’d knock it up straight away but I’m a bit busy and need to trawl for info and dates first.
